AllOfDubai ("we", "us", "our") operates the website allofdubai.com and the AllOfDubai mobile / progressive web application (collectively, the "Service"). This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
Information we collect
We collect the minimum personal information needed to run the Service. This includes: (1) account information you provide when you sign up — your email address and an optional display name; (2) content you create on the Service — reviews, saved items, business listings, event reservations, posts and other user-generated content; (3) technical information — your device type, language preference, theme preference, and basic usage analytics; (4) optional profile photo if you choose to upload one.
How we use your information
We use your data to operate, maintain and improve the Service: to authenticate you, to display your content to other users where appropriate, to send transactional emails (sign-in links, password reset, important notices about your account), and to keep the platform safe (preventing spam and abuse). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Third-party services
AllOfDubai relies on Supabase (database and authentication), Google services (sign-in if you choose Google login, Google Analytics for usage measurement, and Gemini AI for some optional features such as Hafez Fal interpretation), the Meta (Facebook) Pixel for advertising measurement, and our hosting provider. These services receive only the data necessary to perform their function. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
Cookies & local storage
We use browser local storage to remember your language, theme, sign-in session and a few non-essential preferences. We also use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how the Service is used and to measure our advertising. These tools may set cookies and collect device and usage data; you can opt out via your browser or device settings.
Your rights
You may at any time: view and edit your profile, delete the content you have posted, sign out of all devices, or request full deletion of your account and associated data. To request account deletion, contact us at the address below; we will action the request within 30 days.
Data retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account exists. Content you post may remain visible after deletion only where it has been quoted, replied to, or aggregated. Anonymous usage analytics are retained for up to 24 months.
Children
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the app and via the "Last updated" date above.
